I highly recommend Joy's work at Wiley Rein based on my 2+ years as Joy's immediate supervisor. I would highlight in particular Joy's strong quantitative skills, economic research skills, presentation skills, and work ethic.

Paul Zucker

Consultant at Wiley Rein

I am passionate about creating technology to empower individuals, families, and organizations in crisis. I spent 15 years working at multinational corporations before launching The Delphius Institute (TDI), an edtech startup, which teaches financial and life skills to young adults from underserved communities around the world. I am currently seeking opportunities to partner with organizations and individuals who share my mission to equip those experiencing economic, family, and business crises with tools that can improve their decision making ability under stress and uncertainty. I have three projects that I am currently exploring in the family crisis space that you can read more about in this essay.

Prior to TDI, I helped global teams meet their goals by navigating within the budgetary and regulatory frameworks governing international finance matters. The models and systems I have designed have influenced and enabled key decision makers to effectively manage high-profile, multi-million dollar international projects for companies ranging from international law firms to innovative technology giant, Intel Corporation. Having worked in large organizations for over a decade, I am well-versed in change management and process excellence methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management.

I grew up in a diverse immigrant community in Providence, RI. My exploration of international culture began at a young age and, in my adult life, has translated into a passion for international travel. I have lived, worked, and traveled extensively throughout the US, Europe, South America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa, and am now conversational in 5 languages. I enjoy delivering speeches and workshops and have addressed several student and professional audiences in the US and abroad.

I graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a BA degree in International Relations and Statistics. I hold two master's degrees, an MBA in International Management and Finance from Boston College and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. I have also completed two graduate certificates, one in Doing Business in China from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and another in Serious Game Design from Michigan State University.
