Testdrive USA was designed by Joy Hopkins, co-founder of the Delphius Institute, a for-profit social enterprise that designs leading edge technological solutions to educate youth and young adults. Joy has an MBA with 13+ years of corporate experience in multinational firms, and has helped many individuals and small teams draft business plans to help turn their innovative ideas into executable plans. Another important qualification relevant to this project is that Joy also happens to have a perfect driving record!
Joy is a MA of Educational Technology candidate at Michigan State University, where she is also pursuing a MA Certificate in Serious Games. This game was developed as part of Michigan State University's Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies, and Media course, TC830, Foundations of Serious Game Design, taught by Professor Carrie Heeter and Patrick Shaw, Spring 2013.
