On the United States
In the US, Joy has only ever lived on the coasts, except for one year she spent on assignment with Intel in Arizona. She was born on the east coast, and lived out west for nearly a decade. Joy loves the water. Feelings of claustrophobia begin to swell in her chest at the thought of residing any great distance from the water for long.
Born in Rhode Island, Joy is accustomed to the change of seasons. Spring and fall, the in between extreme seasons, have always been her favorite. When in warm climates for too long, Joy is bound to find herself missing the familiar chill of a crisp New England evening in the fall. She can still feel it in her bones.
Washington, DC is one of the few places in the States Joy could imagine ever settling down had she have to choose, though she loves the pace in San Francisco and finds the more remote areas of New England a most welcome retreat.
Joy has been to 33 US states. She hopes to make Alaska and Montana her next two.
